Digital Marketing Manager

Action, a full-service advertising and marketing firm with clients across the nation, is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our expanding digital team. Our new Digital Marketing Manager should be very eager to learn and grow their career. The new manager will champion all things digital and will be the primary party responsible for all of Action’s Search Engine Marketing campaigns. They will be responsible for the assisting in the design and maintenance of all web-oriented marketing materials, including our company and clients’ campaigns, micro-sites, promotional offers, advertising accounts and interactive design projects. Digital Marketing Managers will be cross-trained in PPC, SEM, OTT, SEO, HTML (to a lesser extent) and more. Compensation will commensurate with experience. Please note, the position is fully remote, however mandatory in-office training days and occasional in person meetings may be required.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Proficient with various digital marketing platforms including all of the following: Google Ads (formerly AdWords), Microsoft Ads (formerly Bing Ads), Facebook / Instagram Ads, YouTube Ads, Google Analytics.
  • Familiar with current SEO strategies, implementations and content development.
  • Help offer feedback, develop and deploy effective HTML templates for newsletters, email, landing pages, etc. to support marketing activities. HTML coding skills are NOT required.
  • Deploy coded HTML emails through customer’s CRMs. No coding skills are required.
  • Manage the digital team daily in a variety of evolving tasks spanning all digital offerings. You will be responsible for all client campaigns.
  • Help implement digital incentives.
  • Manage digital reporting activities.
  • Manage client co-op materials.
  • Ensure proper budget pacing across all client campaigns and all platforms.
  • Proactively A/B test, offer suggestions and provide data driven findings and more to help create highly effective campaigns.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of related experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of Search Engine Marketing and Social Media Marketing is required. Candidates will be tested on this knowledge.
  • Candidates must be fluent in the following ad platforms: Google Ads (Google AdWords), Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, YouTube Ads, Google Analytics.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, is required.
  • Familiar with HTML is preferred but not required
  • Thorough knowledge of SEO is preferred.
  • Familiar with CSS, JavaScript and Abobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with web-based third-party email solutions such as MailChimp, Benchmark email, etc.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to details is a must.
  • Willingness to learn and expand skillsets.
  • Prioritizes multiple tasks effectively.
  • Automotive and/or Agency experience is a plus.

Account Coordinator

We're looking for Account Coordinators to help our Account Managers serve our clients. This position has been the starting point for some of the most successful members of our account team who evolved into senior level positions and pay.

Organizational skills are a must as you will be balancing multiple projects on an ongoing basis. Daily duties include:

  • Content gathering
  • Proofreading
  • Entering client projects and media requests into agency software
  • Interfacing with other agency departments
  • Social media maintenance
  • Other duties as requested by your account team partners

Desired Skills and Experience
Some experience within an advertising agency or related industry (media buying firm, TV or radio station, etc.) helpful but not required. An energetic and outgoing personality, great communication skills and a large dose of good-old fashioned common sense IS required.

Account Manager

We currently have a great opportunity for an experienced automotive advertising Advertising Executive. As the only automotive agency paid on results, our Account Managers are on the front lines in building and executing winning strategies for our client partners and get to share in their success.

Responsibilities include daily contact with a portfolio of automotive dealers, General Managers and/or Marketing Directors, providing them in direction in all areas of marketing strategy, research, creative, budget, and media – print, broadcast and digital. Position works with all areas and departments within the agency as the liaison between the client and Action. Introverts need not apply. (Sorry. We do love introverts, just not for this position!)

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years experience in an agency or in-house marketing department. Must be detail oriented, very organized, and available for some light (2-3 overnight trips a month) travel.
